Method
Preparing the Meat
- 1
Choose Your Meat
Select either smoked pork, braised chicken, or chopped brisket depending on your preference.
- 2
Cook the Meat
If using smoked pork, ensure it is fully cooked and shredded. For braised chicken, cook until tender and pull apart into pieces. For chopped brisket, ensure it is heated and chopped into bite-sized pieces.
Making the BBQ Sauce
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a medium saucepan, combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 4
Heat the Sauce
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it begins to simmer. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
Assembling the Sandwich
- 5
Prepare the Bacon
Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Build the Sandwich
On the bottom half of a brioche bun, place your choice of pulled meat. Generously drizzle the BBQ sauce over the meat, then top with crispy bacon.
- 7
Finish the Sandwich
Place the top half of the brioche bun on top to complete the sandwich. Repeat for the remaining buns.
