Preparation

Wash and Chop Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Shake off excess water and chop it into bite-sized pieces.

Grate Parmesan Cheese
Using a box grater or a microplane, grate the parmesan cheese into a bowl and set aside.
Dressing

Prepare the Dressing
In a small bowl, mince the garlic clove. Add lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the minced garlic. Whisk together until well combined.

Emulsify the Dressing
Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously to create an emulsified dressing. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Assembly

Combine Ingredients
In a large salad bowl, add the chopped romaine lettuce. Pour the dressing over the lettuce and toss to coat evenly.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese over the top of the salad and toss gently to combine.
