Method

Preparing the Patties

  1. 1

    Forming the Patties

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and form them into balls. Season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Smashing the Patties

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place the beef balls in the skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form thin patties. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side.

  3. 3

    Flipping the Patties

Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.

Cooking the Bacon

  1. 4

    Frying the Bacon

In a separate pan, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pan and let drain on paper towels.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Preparing the Buns

Toast the brioche buns lightly on the skillet or griddle until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Adding the Avocado

Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Mash it lightly with a fork and season with salt.

  3. 7

    Building the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, spread a generous amount of mashed avocado. Place the melted cheese patty on top, followed by two slices of crispy bacon. Add a handful of potato sticks for crunch, then top with the other half of the bun.
