Method
Preparation
- 1
Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
- 2
Add Taco Seasoning
Once the beef is cooked, drain any excess fat. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the beef and add 1/2 cup of water. Stir to combine and simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Assemble the Taco Box
- 3
Prepare the Tortillas
Warm the tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet for about 30 seconds to make them pliable.
- 4
Fill the Tortillas
On each tortilla, place a generous portion of the seasoned ground beef, and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- 5
Add Toppings
Drizzle sour cream and salsa over each filled tortilla. If desired, add sliced jalapeños, guacamole, and chopped cilantro as optional toppings.
- 6
Serve
Fold the tortillas to create burritos and serve them in a box or platter for easy sharing.
