Filling and Wrappers
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, grated carrots, sliced green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- 2
Wrap the Potstickers
Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold it over to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal. You can also pleat the edges for a decorative touch. Repeat until all filling is used.

Cooking the Potstickers
For frying: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Once hot, place the potstickers in a single layer and fry until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Add a splash of water to the skillet and cover immediately. Steam for about 5 minutes until cooked through.

Serve
Serve the potstickers hot with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
