Method
Prepare the Batter
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt until well combined.
Add Wet Ingredients
Stir in the vanilla extract and the beer until the batter is smooth and free of lumps. Let the batter sit for about 10 minutes.
Fry the Oreos
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or a deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
Dip the Oreos
Using a fork, dip each Oreo cookie into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
Fry the Oreos
Carefully drop the coated Oreos into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry them for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through for even cooking.
Drain the Oreos
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried Oreos from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve
Plate and Garnish
Arrange the fried Oreos on a serving plate. Drizzle with dulce de leche and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
