Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the rib eye steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare, or to your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let rest.

Frites Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips. Soak them in cold water for about 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.

  2. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels, season with salt.

Crispy Peppers & Onions Preparation

  1. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced bell peppers and onions, season with salt, and cook until crispy and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.

Garlic Mayo Preparation

  1. 6

    Make Garlic Mayo

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt to taste until well combined.
