For Frying

Method

Prepare the Filling

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Mix the Filling

In a bowl, combine the lobster meat, crumbled bacon, herbed cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Assemble the Wontons

  1. 3

    Fill the Wontons

Take a wonton wrapper and place a spoonful of the lobster filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal. Repeat with remaining filling and wrappers.

Make the Pico de Gallo

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt to taste. Mix well and set aside.

Fry the Wontons

  1. 5

    Heat Oil

In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 6

    Fry the Wontons

Carefully add the wontons to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Serve

  1. 7

    Plate the Wontons

Serve the fried lobster wontons hot with a side of pico de gallo for dipping.
