Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Trim any excess fat and silver skin from the tenderloin using a sharp knife.
- 2
- 3
Searing
In a large oven-safe skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the tenderloin on all sides until browned (about 3-4 minutes per side).
- 4
Roasting
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast the tenderloin for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
- 5
Resting
Remove the tenderloin from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.
- 6
Serving
Slice the tenderloin into 1-inch thick pieces and serve with your choice of sides.
