Cooking Instructions

Prepare the Roast
Season the beef chuck roast with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Place it in a slow cooker.

Add Ingredients
Add chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce to the slow cooker.

Slow Cook
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the beef is tender and falls apart easily.

Make the Gravy
Remove the beef from the slow cooker and let it rest. Strain the liquid into a saucepan. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the pan over medium heat until thickened.

Slice the Beef
Shred or slice the beef into pieces and place it back in the gravy to soak.

Prepare the Sandwiches
Slice the French bread and fill each piece generously with the roast beef and gravy mixture.

Serve
Serve hot with extra napkins on the side.
