Prepare the Fried Green Tomatoes
Slice the green tomatoes into 1/4 inch thick slices. Dip each tomato slice first in the flour, then in the buttermilk, and finally in the cornmeal mixture.

Fry the Tomatoes
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the coated tomato slices until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

- 4
Fry the Shrimp
In the same skillet, heat more vegetable oil if needed and fry the shrimp until golden brown and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- 5
Make the Remoulade
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and adjust seasoning to taste.
- 6
Serve
Arrange the fried green tomatoes on a plate, top with fried shrimp, and serve with white remoulade sauce on the side.
