Burger Patties Preparation

Prepare the Fish
Finely chop the Ono or Mahi fillets and place them in a bowl.

Mix Ingredients
Add breadcrumbs, egg, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to the bowl. Mix until well combined.

Form Patties
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

Chill Patties
Refrigerate the patties for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
Tartar Sauce Preparation

Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, pickles, capers, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Mix Well
Stir until all ingredients are well blended. Set aside in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Coleslaw Preparation

Mix Vegetables
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrots.

Prepare Dressing
In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Combine and Toss
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots. Toss to coat evenly. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.

Toast Buns
While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

Assemble Burgers
On the bottom half of each bun, place a burger patty, a slice of cheese, a few slices of tomato, and a generous scoop of coleslaw. Top with tartar sauce and the other half of the bun.
