Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Rinse the Ono fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides of the fillets with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and finely mince them using a knife or a garlic press.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Butter

In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until it is fully melted and begins to foam slightly.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until it is fragrant and just starting to turn golden. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  3. 5

    Cook the Ono

Gently place the seasoned Ono fish fillets into the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then carefully flip them over and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  4. 6

    Serve

Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the skillet and place it on a serving plate. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter from the skillet over the fish and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
