Fish Marinade

Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined.

Marinate the Fish
Add the white fish fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Batter

Prepare the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add cold water, mixing until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
Frying the Fish

Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat enough oil over medium heat for deep frying (about 2 inches).

Batter and Fry the Fish
Remove the fish from the marinade and dip each fillet into the batter. Carefully place the battered fish into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Place a piece of fried fish onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, fresh cilantro, and a few slices of avocado. Drizzle with sour cream and serve with lime wedges on the side.
