Pork Preparation

Prepare the Pork
In a slow cooker, add the pork shoulder, soy sauce, Hawaiian sea salt, liquid smoke, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the pork evenly.

Cook the Pork
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork. Once cooked, shred the pork and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced yellow onion and red bell pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are soft and translucent.

Cook Sweet Potatoes
Add the sweet potatoes to the skillet, season with a pinch of salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are fork-tender.

Combine Pork and Vegetables
Once the sweet potatoes are cooked, add the shredded pork to the skillet and mix everything together. Cook for another 5 minutes to heat through.
