Method

Preparing the Batter

  1. 1

    Mix the Egg Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well combined.

Cooking the French Toast

  1. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet or griddle, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.

  2. 3

    Dip the Bread

Take a slice of bread and dip it in the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated.

  3. 4

    Cook the Bread

Place the coated bread slice in the heated skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining slices, adding more butter to the skillet as needed.

Preparing the Fruit Topping

  1. 5

    Slice the Fruit

While the French toast is cooking, prepare the fresh fruit by slicing strawberries and banana, and rinsing the blueberries.

Once the French toast is cooked, stack them on a plate.

  2. 7

    Add Fresh Fruit and Syrup

Top the French toast with the prepared fresh fruit and drizzle with maple syrup to taste.

  3. 8

    Serve Immediately

Serve the French toast warm and enjoy!
