Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two 8 oz patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Grill the Pineapple

While the patties are cooking, grill the pineapple slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are caramelized and have grill marks.

  4. 4

    Heat the Ham

Add the smoked ham to the grill or skillet during the last minute of cooking to warm it through.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread BBQ sauce on the bottom half of the sourdough bun. Add the cooked patty, topped with smoked ham, grilled pineapple, lettuce, and sliced tomato. Finish with the top bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Hawaiian burger hot with your favorite side.
