Homemade Ranch Dressing
Preparation
1. Prepare the Fries
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 175°C (350°F). Fry the frozen French fries according to package instructions until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
2. Melt the Cheese
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. Sprinkle the cheese mixture over the hot fries and let it melt slightly.
3. Prepare the Roast Beef and Gravy
In a small saucepan, heat the shredded roast beef with the beef gravy until warmed through.
4. Make the Ranch Dressing
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
5. Assemble the Debris Fries
Top the cheese-covered fries with the warm roast beef and gravy. Drizzle with homemade ranch dressing before serving.
