Ingredients for Roasted Bone Marrow with Crispy Pork Belly & Shredded Cabbage

Method

Directions to Prepare Roasted Bone Marrow with Crispy Pork Belly & Shredded Cabbage

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Belly

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the pork belly with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Place it in a roasting pan and roast for about 2 to 3 hours until the meat is tender and the skin is crispy. Remove from the oven and let it rest.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bone Marrow

Increase the oven temperature to 450°F (230°C). Place the beef bone marrow bones upright on a baking sheet. Season with salt and black pepper. Roast in the oven for about 15-20 minutes until the marrow is soft and bubbly.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Cabbage

While the bones are roasting, thinly slice the cabbage and toss it with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Crisp the Pork Belly

Once rested, slice the pork belly and place the slices under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until the skin is extra crispy.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On a serving platter, arrange the roasted bone marrow bones. Top each bone with crispy pork belly slices and a generous amount of shredded cabbage. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
