Clean the Clams
Rinse the clams under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Soak them in a bowl of salted water for about 30 minutes, then rinse again.

Prepare the Garlic and Parsley
Finely chop the garlic cloves and roughly chop the fresh parsley.

Add Clams and Wine
Add the cleaned clams to the pot, followed by the white wine. Stir gently to combine.

Steam the Clams
Cover the pot and steam the clams for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened. Discard any clams that remain closed.

Season and Serve
Add salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped parsley. Serve the clams hot with the broth.
