Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Clean the Clams

Rinse the clams under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Soak them in a bowl of salted water for about 30 minutes, then rinse again.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Garlic and Parsley

Finely chop the garlic cloves and roughly chop the fresh parsley.

  3. 3

    Sauté Garlic

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add Clams and Wine

Add the cleaned clams to the pot, followed by the white wine. Stir gently to combine.

  5. 5

    Steam the Clams

Cover the pot and steam the clams for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams have opened. Discard any clams that remain closed.

  6. 6

    Season and Serve

Add salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the chopped parsley. Serve the clams hot with the broth.
