Method

Chicken Sandwich Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Set up the Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and breadcrumbs in the third. This will be your breading station.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Take each marinated chicken breast, coat it in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs stick.

  4. 4

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken breasts. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each burger bun, spread 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. Add lettuce, a fried chicken breast, and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries Directions

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into thin strips, resembling fries. Rinse them in cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

  2. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the cut potatoes in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 5-6 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  3. 8

    Season the Fries

Once fried, remove the fries with a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels. While they are still hot, sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.
