Base Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Collard Greens

Wash the collard greens thoroughly to remove any dirt. Remove the tough stems and chop the leaves into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Collard Greens

In a medium pot, bring water to a boil. Add the chopped collard greens and blanch for about 3-4 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Squeeze out excess moisture.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine the Base Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked collard greens, cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until well combined and smooth.

  2. 4

    Add Flavor Enhancers

Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, hot sauce, and lemon juice to the mixture. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Garnishing

  1. 5

    Garnish the Dip

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Top with chopped green onions and grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor and presentation.
