Pudding Preparation

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Peel and slice the bananas into thin rounds. Set aside.

2

Combine Dry Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the granulated sugar, cornstarch, and salt.

3

Add Milk

Gradually whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.

4

Cook the Pudding

Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble (about 5-7 minutes).

5

Add Bananas and Vanilla

Remove from heat, then fold in the sliced bananas and vanilla extract. Allow to cool for a few minutes.

Whipped Topping

6

Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, add heavy cream and powdered sugar. Using an electric mixer, whip until soft peaks form.

7

Add Vanilla

Mix in the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

Assembly of Banana Pudding

8

Layer the Ingredients

In a serving dish, layer the vanilla wafers at the bottom, followed by a layer of pudding, then a layer of whipped topping.

9

Repeat Layers

Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped topping on top.

10

Garnish

Slice the additional banana and arrange on top for decoration. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
