BBQ Rib Tips

Smashed Potatoes

Green Beans

Method

BBQ Rib Tips

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rib Tips

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the rib tips with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper over the ribs, massaging the spices into the meat.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned rib tips on a baking sheet lined with foil. Cover with another piece of foil and bake for about 2 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Glaze with BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over the rib tips and return to the oven for an additional 30 minutes, uncovered, to caramelize the sauce.

Smashed Potatoes

  1. 4

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into quarters. Place them in a pot of salted water and boil until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 5

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Mash the potatoes until creamy and smooth, but still a bit chunky. Stir in chopped chives before serving.

Green Beans

  1. 6

    Prepare the Green Beans

Trim the ends off the green beans and rinse them under cold water.

  2. 7

    Sauté the Green Beans

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, then add the green beans. Season with salt and black pepper and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
