Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Protein
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, or heat the roasted chicken until warm. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 2
Assemble the Nachos
On a large baking sheet, spread a layer of corn tortilla chips. Top with half of the cooked ground beef or roasted chicken, half of the black beans, half of the diced tomatoes, and half of the shredded nacho cheese.
- 3
Add More Layers
Repeat the layering process with the remaining tortilla chips, beef or chicken, black beans, diced tomatoes, and cheese.
- 4
Melt the Cheese
Place the assembled nachos in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 5
Add Toppings
Once removed from the oven, drizzle the cheese sauce over the nachos, add pickled jalapeños, diced red onions, and a drizzle of ranch dressing.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately with a side of fire roasted salsa.
