Preparation

Preparation

1. Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

3. Cream Butter and Sugars

In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.

4. Add Eggs and Vanilla

Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until fully combined.

5. Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

6. Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

7. Prepare the Pan

Grease a deep-dish pizza pan (or a 9-inch round cake pan) with butter or non-stick spray.

8. Bake

Spread the cookie dough evenly into the prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.

9. Cool and Slice

Allow the Cookizza to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing into wedges. Serve warm or at room temperature.
