Burger Ingredients

Method

Burger Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Roasted Garlic Aioli

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the tops off the garlic cloves and drizzle with olive oil. Wrap in foil and roast for 30-35 minutes until soft. Once cooled, squeeze the garlic into a bowl, add mayonnaise, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until smooth.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Burger Patties

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on one side. Flip and place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties reach the desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, cut the buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Spread a generous amount of roasted garlic aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Add lettuce, a slice of tomato, the cheese-topped patty, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
