Boil the Water
In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of fresh, filtered water to a boil over medium heat.

Add Tea Leaves
Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat and let it cool for about 30 seconds. Then, add 2 teaspoons of Japanese green tea leaves to the water.

Steep the Tea
Allow the tea leaves to steep in the hot water for 2 to 3 minutes. This will extract the flavor and nutrients from the leaves.

Garnish and Serve
Add a slice of lemon to the cup for a refreshing touch. Serve the tea warm and enjoy!
