Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Cucumber

Grate the cucumber using a grater or food processor. If the cucumber is particularly watery, you may want to squeeze out some excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the grated cucumber, Lebanese yogurt, minced garlic, finely chopped mint leaves, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt.

  3. 3

    Stir Well

Stir the mixture well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  4. 4

    Chill

Cover the tzatziki and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve chilled as a dip with pita bread or as a sauce for grilled meats and vegetables.
