Sauté the Onions and Garlic
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.

Add the Green Beans
Add the trimmed green beans to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are bright green and tender-crisp.

Incorporate the Crushed Tomatoes
Pour in the crushed tomatoes. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Season the Dish
Add salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and dried basil. Stir well to combine and adjust seasoning to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve warm as a side dish or a light main.
