Method
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Using a cookie scoop, drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
Melt Butter and Sugar
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar until well blended.
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
Combine Mixtures
Stir in the dry ingredients until just combined and smooth.
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the brownie batter.
Bake
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool and Cut
Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before lifting out with the parchment paper. Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into bite-size pieces.
