Shrimp Shumai Preparation

Prepare the Filling
In a bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, green onions, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined.

Fill the Wontons
Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the shrimp mixture in the center. Gather the edges of the wrapper and pinch to seal, leaving the top open. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Prepare for Frying
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Shumai
Carefully place a few shumai in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. Repeat until all shumai are cooked.
