Rice Gnocchi

Fried Garlic and Edamame

Method

Rice Gnocchi Preparation

1

Make the Dough

In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, water, and salt. Mix until a smooth dough forms. If too sticky, add a little more flour.

2

Shape the Gnocchi

Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a log shape. Cut into 1-inch pieces to form gnocchi.

3

Cook the Gnocchi

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the top, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and drain.

Pork Ragu Preparation

4

Cook the Pork

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until soft. Add ground pork, cook until browned.

5

Add Flavor

Stir in soy sauce, gochujang, broth, and black pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Fried Garlic and Edamame Preparation

6

Fry the Garlic

In a small pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

7

Cook the Edamame

In the same pan, add shelled edamame and sauté for about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt to taste.

Assembly

8

Combine

Plate the gnocchi, top with pork ragu, and garnish with fried garlic and sautéed edamame. Serve warm.
