Method

Croquettes Preparation

1

Cook Potatoes

Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and let cool, then mash in a bowl.

2

Mix Ingredients

In the bowl with the mashed potatoes, add mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

3

Form Croquettes

Shape the mixture into small balls or patties, then roll each in breadcrumbs to coat.

4

Fry Croquettes

In a deep pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the croquettes in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Balsamic Caramelized Onions

5

Sauté Onions

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft and caramelized, about 15 minutes.

6

Add Balsamic Mixture

Stir in balsamic vinegar, sugar, and salt. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly.
