Method
For the Sandwich
- 1
Prepare the Sandwich
Preheat a panini press or skillet over medium heat. Slice the Cuban bread lengthwise and spread house mustard on both sides. Layer the roasted pork, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles inside the bread. Close the sandwich.
- 2
Grill the Sandwich
Place the sandwich in the panini press or skillet. If using a skillet, press down with a spatula. Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
For the Moscow Fries
- 3
Prepare the Fries
Wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips to resemble French fries. Soak in water for 30 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
- 4
Fry the Potatoes
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the potato strips in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt and paprika to taste.
