Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Herb Butter Sauce
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, taking care not to burn it.
- 2
Add Wine and Herbs
Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Stir in the chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Let it simmer for 5 minutes to blend the flavors.
- 3
Cook the Escargot
If using canned escargot, drain them and rinse. If using fresh, prepare them according to your preference. Add the escargot to the saucepan and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing them to absorb the sauce.
- 4
Assemble and Serve
Preheat your oven broiler. In a baking dish, arrange the escargot in the sauce. Sprinkle grated Asiago cheese on top. Place under the broiler for about 3-5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 5
Serve with Crostini
Serve the escargot hot, accompanied by crostini for dipping into the sauce.
