Method
Pulled Duck
Prepare the Duck
Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). In a large oven-safe pot, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, five spice powder, minced garlic cloves, and grated ginger. Stir well.
Cabbage Slaw
Prepare the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, and chopped cilantro. Drizzle with lime juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Toss until the slaw is well mixed.
Wonton Crisps
Fry the Wonton Wrappers
In a deep skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the wonton wrappers in batches. Fry until they puff up and turn golden brown, about 1-2 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Tacos
Assemble the Tacos
Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side. Place the pulled duck onto each tortilla, followed by a generous amount of cabbage slaw. Top with wonton crisps for added crunch.
