Method

Fish Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them well. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the grill and set aside.

Cabbage Slaw Preparation

  1. 3

    Combine the Slaw Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the shredded green cabbage, grated carrot, and chopped cilantro.

  2. 4

    Dress the Slaw

Add lime juice and salt to the cabbage mixture. Toss well to combine. Let sit for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Lime Crema Preparation

  1. 5

    Make the Lime Crema

In a small bowl, mix sour cream, lime juice, garlic powder, and salt until smooth and well combined. Set aside.

Assembling Tacos

  1. 6

    Warm the Tortillas

Heat the corn tortillas on the grill or in a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Tacos

Place a grilled fish fillet on each tortilla, top with cabbage slaw, and drizzle lime crema over the top. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
