Method

Prepare the Patty

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cooking the Patty

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches your desired level of doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Bun

Slice the burger buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Add Toppings

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, sliced tomato, and pickles.

  3. 8

    Finish Assembly

Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
