Dough Preparation

Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Dough
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Let Dough Rise
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Make Sauce
In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
Assembly and Baking

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

Roll Out Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

Add Sauce
Spread the prepared tomato sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough.

Add Toppings
Layer the mozzarella cheese, diced bell pepper, sliced red onion, sliced mushrooms, and fresh spinach on top of the sauce. Drizzle a little olive oil over the toppings and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
