Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Cut the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into thin strips to make fries.

  2. 2

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the soaked potatoes to the hot oil in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.

Cooking the Steak

  1. 5

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 6

    Grill the Steak

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

Making the Garlic Butter

  1. 7

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 8

    Add Garlic and Parsley

Add minced garlic and chopped parsley to the melted butter and stir for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice.

Serving

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled ribeye steak with a side of crispy fries, drizzled with garlic butter.
