Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Finely chop the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic.

  2. 2

    Cook the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, celery, and garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.

  3. 3

    Brown the Meat

Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the Tomatoes

Stir in the canned tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

    Simmer the Sauce

Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. 6

    Cook the Spaghetti

While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve the spaghetti topped with the Bolognese sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
