Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients and dice the red onions and cold-smoked salmon into bite-sized pieces.

2

Make the Omelet

In a bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt.

3

Cook the Eggs

Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet and let them cook undisturbed for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to set.

4

Add Fillings

Sprinkle the diced red onions, cold-smoked salmon, and capers evenly over one half of the omelet. Use a spatula to fold the other half over the fillings.

5

Finish Cooking

Continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes until the omelet is fully set and lightly golden.

6

Prepare the Sauce

Serve the omelet with a dollop of sour cream on top.
