Cooking Instructions

1. Prepare the Chicken

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

2. Cook the Chicken

Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove from skillet and let rest for a few minutes.

3. Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add sliced onions and jalapeño peppers. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until the onions are translucent and jalapeños are tender.

4. Assemble the Dish

Slice the cooked chicken into strips and place them in a baking dish. Top with the sautéed vegetables and then sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.

5. Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm. Enjoy your Pollo Fundido!
