Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Beef Broth
In a large pot, bring the beef broth to a simmer. Add the Sichuan chili paste and soy sauce, stirring to combine. Allow the broth to simmer for about 30 minutes to develop flavor.
- 2
Cook the Brisket
While the broth simmers, place the brisket in a separate pot of boiling water. Cook for about 1.5 hours until tender. Once cooked, remove and slice thinly.
- 3
Cook the Ramen Noodles
In a separate pot, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- 4
Prepare the Spinach
Blanch the spinach in boiling water for about 30 seconds, then transfer to ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain and set aside.
- 5
Assemble the Ramen Bowl
In a bowl, place a serving of ramen noodles, top with sliced brisket, blanched spinach, a soft-boiled egg, and garnish with chopped green onions. Pour the hot Sichuan beef broth over the top.
