Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well until smooth.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Add chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- 3
Prepare for Frying
After marinating, remove chicken from the fridge. In a separate bowl, add cornstarch and dredge each wing in the cornstarch until well coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the coated chicken wings in the hot oil in batches, frying for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Prepare the Serving
On a serving plate, arrange fried chicken wings. Drizzle with Kewpie mayonnaise, garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve with pickled daikon and carrots on the side.
