Braised Tofu

Prepare the Tofu
Drain and cut the firm tofu into cubes.

Add Tofu and Broth
Add tofu cubes, soy sauce, and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer.

Braised Cooking
Cover and let braise for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Serve
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.
Fried Tofu with Dipping Sauce

Prepare the Tofu
Drain and press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes.

Coat with Cornstarch
Dredge tofu cubes in cornstarch, ensuring they are well coated.

Fry the Tofu
In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the tofu until golden brown and crispy.

Make Dipping Sauce
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey or maple syrup, and toasted sesame seeds.

Serve
Serve fried tofu hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
Mapo Tofu

Prepare the Tofu
Drain and cut the silken tofu into cubes.

Cook Ground Pork (Optional)
In a pan, brown the ground pork over medium heat until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Add Sauce Ingredients
Stir in doubanjiang, soy sauce, and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer.

Add Tofu
Gently add tofu cubes and cooked pork (if using) to the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Thicken Sauce
Stir in cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with rice.
