Prepare the Milky Way
Chop the Milky Way bars into small pieces and set aside.

Cream the Butter and Sugar
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs
Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture.

Add Vanilla and Milky Way
Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped Milky Way pieces until evenly distributed.

Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
