Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ham
Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the bone-in ham in a roasting pan, cut side down. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
- 2
Make the Glaze
In a saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, black pepper, and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth.
- 3
Glaze the Ham
Brush half of the glaze over the surface of the ham, making sure to get it into the scored areas.
- 4
Bake the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours, basting with the remaining glaze every 30 minutes.
- 5
Finish Baking
Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize. The ham is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- 6
Serve
Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your honey glazed ham!
