Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ham
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Place the spiral-cut ham in a large roasting pan, cut side down.
- 2
Make the Cola Glaze
In a medium saucepan, combine the cola, brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- 3
Reduce the Glaze
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the glaze simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until it has thickened slightly.
- 4
Glaze the Ham
Brush the glaze generously over the ham, making sure to get it between the slices. Reserve some glaze for basting later.
- 5
Bake the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, basting with the reserved glaze every 30 minutes.
- 6
Finish and Serve
Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of baking to allow the glaze to caramelize. Once done, let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
